Theme: Work - What’s Basic Income Got To Do With It?
The Forum will start with a short introduction to Basic Income, with questions and answers.
In the morning session, a highly participative format will give every participant a chance to contribute to thinking on the forum’s theme of work and basic income.
In the afternoon, author and film director Gerard Stembridge (see below) will moderate a discussion about the ideas that have emerged during the morning and will act as ‘keynote listener’ for the day.

Born in Limerick, educated at CBS Sexton Street and at University College Dublin, Gerard Stembridge began his directing career in 1985 working as a producer/director with RTE, the Irish national broadcaster. He left in 1990 to allow more time for writing. Since then he has written for film, TV, theatre and radio, frequently directing his own work. He has written five novels.
